#1 Milk and dairy products

We usually see kitties drinking their mother's milk, and we might as well give them a nice bowl of milk so that they can grow better, but it's not the case for adult cats. Lactose intolerance affects the majority of adult cats. Despite the fact that they enjoy the taste of milk and dairy products, they should not be fed milk because it is extremely detrimental to their stomach. Dairy consumption can cause nausea and diarrhea. If your cat is thirsty,  offer it water instead.

#2 Chocolate and candy

Caffeine and theobromine are two substances that humans consume a lot, primarily in chocolate and candy. Unfortunately, cats are unable to process these two delicious products because of the two elements. When a cat consumes chocolate, the components become poisonous to them, resulting in liver failure.

It's also not a good idea to feed our kitties candy. Many candies are high in sugar, which can be damaging to a cat's health, just as it is to ours. Candy can also be poisonous to our cats and cause them to choke because of their size and texture.

#3 Raw meat and fish

Raw meat and fish may include antibiotic-resistant bacterias and parasites that can cause serious illness. Pancreatitis, or inflammation of the pancreas, is a disorder that can be caused by excess fat. However, your cat can eat raw meat, but you should research deeper in how to execute raw meat, give them an appropriate portion each meal, and keep track on their reactions after consuming raw meat.

#4 Raw eggs

Cats should never be given raw eggs. When eggs are eaten uncooked, they may contain bacteria that might harm the intestines. Furthermore, raw eggs include a protein that is difficult for cats to absorb, resulting in vitamin insufficiency. If you wish to serve eggs to your cat, make sure they are cooked and mixed in with their diet.

#5 Onions, garlic, and chives

Cats can be seriously poisoned by even a modest amount of these foods. They get hemolytic anemia and their red blood cells become fragile when they eat onions, garlic, and chives. Breathlessness, stomach pain, and colored urine are all symptoms of this condition.

#6 Grapes and raisins

These nutritious treats for humans are not healthy for our felines. Grapes and raisins are extremely poisonous to them and can lead to kidney failure and more serious kidney problems. The reasons for this reaction are still unknown.

#7 Yeast dough

When yeast dough is eaten raw, the major issue is that it might rise after being consumed, clogging the intestines. Furthermore, following fermentation, the yeast produces sugars that contain alcohol, which is extremely deadly to cats.

#8 Nuts

Nuts are high in fat and can easily cause our cats to gain weight. While nuts include proteins and lipids that are good for humans, they are difficult for cats to digest. Excessive fat can also cause stomach issues, which can lead to vomiting.

#9 Mushrooms

Our pets should not be given mushrooms because they don't mix well together. Although a little number of store-bought mushrooms may not be harmful, some varieties contain toxins that can cause serious problems in cats. It's always a good idea to double-check if a particular mushroom is safe for them to eat.

#10 Tomatoes

Unripe tomatoes, as well as their leaves and stems, contain tomatine, which is extremely harmful to cats. Vomiting dilated pupils, loss of appetite and a variety of other symptoms can occur after ingesting this drug.
