It’s not all sunshine and rainbows when you’re a mother. Particularly if the mother is exhausted or depressed. Think of the work that you have to do: restless nights, more responsibilities, less time for yourself, and so on. Would you be able to keep a smile on your face all the time? Probably not. Don’t get me wrong: motherhood is a wonderful thing that is well worth the sacrifices, but it is not the same without its downsides.
