There are a number of strange facts concerning cat sleep. Cats, for example, sleep for roughly 16 hours each day, which equates to 6 years for a 9-year-old cat. Three-quarters of their sleep is spent snoozing, from which they can wake up at any time. Furthermore, cats are crepuscular, which means they are most active at dark and dawn.

Cats have lots of opportunity to test out some bizarre sleeping postures and locations, according to how much they sleep. Sleeping in a bowl or between books may seem inconvenient, but it’s a necessary evil if you need to be aware at all times and are as adaptable as they are.
