There are many occasions in a year that allow us to take a break and look back. When we are drowning in work to make our life better, a special occasion is like reminding us to relax and have some energy. It’s that time of year when everyone tries to be good and kind, to put others first, to focus on their family and friends, and to celebrate love, joy, and peace. After all, Christmas is about thanking others for the good time spent together this year by gifting and sharing. Besides, Christmas is an important stage of the end of year for everyone to see and memorize every moment happened, and it is closing to open a new year of our chapter. But, while we try to be good to our families and friends, we shouldn’t overlook those who are in desperate need of our attention and also our great buddies.

A few of them preferred pets and cuddles over a toy. “We didn’t have to worry about any of the dogs wanting the same toy because they were let in one at a time,” Dogs Trust Ireland stated. How smart and interesting this way could make, and every dog doesn’t need to fight for their toy and choose it in a fun and peaceful way, there is no worries about other dogs around them. Additionally, it is easier for the photographer catching each dog moment and there is enough space for both of them to create amazing photos.

“In 2017, we decided to organize Secret Santa Paws for the dogs, in which staff members purchased a present specifically for a long-term dog, which we recorded and received a positive response. We wanted to do something different in 2018, so the employees donated toys again, but this time we felt the dogs would want to choose their own. So we lined them up, and it was the most wonderful day… the dogs were ecstatic, and it was incredible to see them. So we did it again this year, combining supporter donations from under our reception tree with staff toy donations,” Dogs Trust Ireland explained. As shown in the video, the crew meticulously placed all of the toys on the floor before allowing the dogs to enter the room one by one. The dogs were ecstatic to be able to select their gifts from a variety of possibilities. While some canines chose their Christmas present right away, others took their time to check each one for the perfect fit. This could say every dog has their special personality like the way they choose their toy with and without hesitation. Our buddies need to be treated in a good way because they deserve it.

Dogs Trust Ireland is Ireland’s largest dog welfare organization, having been in operation since 2005. They specialize in rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs of various shapes, sizes, colors, and breeds. They are “working towards the day when all dogs can lead a happy existence, free from the danger of unnecessary destruction,” as they write on their Facebook page. They guarantee that they will “never destroy a healthy dog.” This is a really inspiring action to a dog community and it can be sure there are a lot of dogs outhere that need to take care of.

“As you can see, choosing a toy was a big decision for some pups, while others reveled in the squeakiest toy they could find,” Dogs Trust Ireland stated on Facebook.
