Cats are taking over the world, that’s not good news but we are always excited about that! People can’t get enough with their beauty and quirks, tons of people have created purrfect photos and videos about cats. Cats, in an artistic way, are much more than that. They are an endless source for artists to freely depict with various styles. For example, if you are into Italian Renaissance art, you can’t ignore this wonderful woman who has inserted her ginger kitty into marvelous pieces of art like the Mona Lisa of Leonardo Da Vinci, The Starry Night of Vincent Van Gogh, etc. If you are cat comic lovers, these funny and emotional cartoon artists will definitely brighten up your day.
Matt McCarthy, a US-based artist has been following a cool type of art: surrealism. He has mastered himself to be a well-known artist with so many giant cats. From intruding and chilling on the beach to being entitled to be the Statue of Liberty’s furry companion.
“The idea initially came to me as I was observing my own cats when they were playing with a bug that entered our house. I wondered how they would react if my wife and I were that small. They’re so sweet and cuddly that we tend to forget they’re apex predators.” – Matt said.
Truly, his arts just hit different as if the cats belonged to certain places and nobody could deny it. Now scroll down to check for yourself!
