It turns out that there’s an Instagram account with the same vigor as the r/WhatsWrongWithYourCat subreddit. And if there’s one thing the internet was made for, it’s amusing photographs of misbehaving cats.
Broken Cats / Cattos memes is the name of the web project, which promises to “heal your depression.” I thought it was a big statement at first, but a simple browse through its feed had me grinning like a lunatic. I’m not depressed, and I’m not dismissing mental illness; all I’m saying is that this Instagram account has the ability to quickly brighten your day. It’s worth it, even if only for a moment.

Dofkunas, the creator of this amusing online initiative, has always wanted to start an Instagram account dedicated to something they are enthusiastic about.
"I've always enjoyed cats and memes," Dofkunas said that, "so back in 2018, I merged both and made an account where I wouldn't post typical lovely cat photographs but instead focus on the 'broken' ones."

Dofkunas has learned from all of the submissions that the degree to which a cat is 'broken' is usually determined by timing. "The majority of the photographs are simply cats captured in amusing poses or making amusing looks at precisely the perfect time. The most common ways that 'broken' cats behave out are images of them yawning because they looked disgusted by something "Dofkunas laughed as he said.
"Photos of cats sleeping in inappropriate poses, on the other hand, are perfectly up their alley. There are so many positions that are only comfortable for cats!"
