Maine Coon cat is a cat breed that is blessed with a long, fluffy coat that looks like they come out of a fairytale. Being one of the biggest cat species only adds to the majesty of its existence. Lotus is an average-sized Maine Coon cat. He is 5 years old, and he weights just over 10kg (about 22 pounds)
Lotus lives with his family in Sweden, and he spends most of his time relaxing in the house and taking naps on the balcony and the couch – his two favorite places in the house. He loves cuddling with his family members.

Lotus has a curious, playful personality. He is loyal to his fam and friendly to guests. He will investigate anything his humans bring home and love to explore corners in the house.

His humans is an amazing photographer who captures breathtaking photos of him and his siblings in spectacular settings, and you can’t deny that Lotus and his pack are more photogenic than most of us!

As mentioned above, he is a Maine Coon cat. As ‘Maine’ a part of their breed’s name, they are from Maine, US, and were even titled the state’s animal. However, their origin is still controversial.

They have a distinct appearance, compared to other breeds: long, thick fur; big furred ears; bushy raccoon-like tail; large paws and slim body and limbs.
Despite their ice-cold, nonchalant expression and manners, they are actually very smart, which makes it relatively easy to train. They are very loyal to their household and affectionate towards family members, although they are not really of a ‘lap cat’ breed. They are also generally friendly to strangers and other animals, though you may not want them to be cautious against you.
