Cat Plays On A Tiny Piano To Inform His Owner When He’s Hungry

Teaching some tricks for pet is the difficult task that every owner wishes they could successfully accomplish. Most of the doggos are the quick learners which are way easier to train, but how about the felines who are always in an aloof mode and only approach to us when they are in need of treats? The chonky kitty in this article has won the Internet by his phenomenal intellect with a bit of artsy side, he plays the Sonata for getting the owner’s attention when they are in the kitchen.

Don’t say you can’t teach a cat to do tricks – this one learned to play the piano to say that he’s hungry

Miaowzart the Pianist should be the best nickname for this tabby cat from Philadelphia, US since he can use a tiny piano that his owner purchased on Ebay as an alarm for being fed or wanting attention. The explosive video was posted by Kate Nyx, she is a musician herself and no wonder her little feline Winslow is inherited her musical talent.

Kate exposed that she was sometimes fed up with his noisy meows because he wanted treats day and night.

“He used to run around screaming all the time and I was like, ‘this is no good.’”

And then she remembered she had a cat-sized piano that she bought in her high school and was still in her house. Winslow showed to Kate that he was a little bit interested in it so she decided to teach him some notes and turned out that was the incredible way to alert herself that her cat was in need of treats.

“The piano is another way to communicate, so he’s not screaming bloody murder.”

“It became some kind of hunting reward because he can’t do much in the apartment. He tends to only play it when we’re in the kitchen and he knows he can possibly get a snack.” elaborated Nyx.

In the video below, Winslow started to perform the song with his little paws to ask for food. The owner knew her chonk cat wanted to talk so she asked him.

“Is it time for dinner?” – said Kate, and then Winslow meowed ” Yeah hooman, I’m hungry!”.

Kate once again asked “When is dinner time?”

Winslow let out a long meooooow. “It’s not noooow.” – Nyx informed to Winslow. Well, another 2 hours to wait!

Winslow also uses the piano to express other things, like the need for attention and cleaning the litter box

This video went viral rapidly because of Winslow’s cuteness and his skillful talent. Nyx revealed he not only used the piano for getting dry food but also wanting to be petted (a chin scratch maybe?), and for having his litter scooped.

“It’s his alarm system in general. He learned that I encourage moving his paws up and down the keyboard, so he does that when he really wants something.” – said Nyx. I can assume that piano is an official service bell of Winslow the pianist.
