Pumpkin is an adorable adopted cat with cerebellar hypoplasia disease. However, that cannot stop this cutie from enjoying himself at the beach. His current owner recently discovered that he has a true adventurous soul, but this little soul particularly hates the strong wind. Pumpkin is a very sweet and loving cat. Her owner described: “He is so curious, charming, adventurous, and so very intuitive. He loves all other animals and they love him too. He seems to be so connected to all living things.”
This might be the reason why the family decided to take him and his brother Moustachio to the beach in the first place because they knew that the two furballs would love it.

But right after the wind picked up…
Pumpkin was fascinated at first. He hopped around with great joy and excitement, but his attitude suddenly changed when the strong wind blew onto his face. It was such a strange yet so funny expression that his owner had to have it on record. It was obvious that the little boy was not fond of the wind.
His owner posted the video to his Instagram account @iispumpkincat, and it immediately went viral. The pictures were shared by 9GAG and got over 243K likes and 44K shares. He definitely became internet famous within a night.

In an interview with Bored Panda, their owner shared: “We decided to foster a mom and 4 kittens from a local animal shelter. We instantly fell in love with them all, but we just couldn’t let Pumpkin go. We knew he was special right away. We adopted him, along with his brother Moustachio as they were inseparable.”

Pumpkin was diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia disease
The family later discovered that Pumpkin carried a disease called cerebellar hypoplasia. This means the brainstem that controls his motor functions is underdeveloped and makes him from time to time unable to move normally.
However, this is far from preventing the ginger adventurer to discover the world and enjoys it in his own way.

His creating an internet explosion is unexpected to his owner, but it is not really a surprise as Pumpkin has always been such a personality. It is amazing how he is now bringing all the joy and happiness to not only his owners but also people worldwide.
