In the cold winter days, people tend to stay in the fireplace to get the warmth, but how about the stray cats who are always outside and have no refuge to get over the winter? Alike other country, Turkey has a lot of stray cats who seek for the shelter and luckily there is a mosque which is constantly welcoming these wild kitties to come in, and we can pray alongside them.

A kind-hearted imam Mustafa Efe have made his mind to open the mosque’s door for cats since 2015 which was 6 years ago but his generosity is still widely mentioned. Nothing couldn’t be better when he let those stray kitties be comfortable like it’s their home. A momma cat even started to give birth to 5 blessing cute little furballs in the mosque while the imam was giving a Friday sermon!

“The kitty has found the heart of compassion and mercy.” – He wrote in a Facebook post about his surprising story of the kitty family was blessed with love and kindness under the mosque.
All a stray cat needs in this world is a little attention and affection from humans, these “guests” are so grateful for the mosque and hoping that we’ll do something to help the local stray cats have a forever home and let them live the fullest!
