Indiana City Police Department Allows People To Pay Off Their Parking Tickets By Donating Cat Food

Stray cats are abandoned everyday, everywhere, across the globe. There are a lot of people who are lack humanity so they decide to throw the poor cats away and some other people do not have any conditions to raise them. Knowing the fact that the shelter was overloaded with so many stray ones, Muncie Animal Care & Services in Indiana had a creative collaboration with the local police not only to help kind-hearted people bring their adoptive cats home and also to give cats who are still in the shelter have better accommodation.

Their initiative was incredibly persuasive: the police encouraged people who were responsible for the parking violations to donate money or cat food to the Muncie Animal Care & Services shelter instead of paying the parking tickets. This campaign was posted on Facebook and gained tons of social media applause.
