One day, an Irish cat owner Aoife McAleer bought a tracker for Jagger the cat to see where she had ventured. The non-stop notifications shocked McAleer, and she posted this experiment on TikTok. McAleer first met Jagger about 7 years ago and she was still a feral kitten. “We took her in and made her part of the family, but she still loved her natural roaming instincts and would venture out daily, but return every evening for bedtime.” – Although Jagger is a feral kitty, she is still disciplined with the dinner hour.
Jagger is not only a bold girl with a feisty cattitude but also she is a lovable kitty versus when she was first brought home.
“She was very tame but as a kitten wouldn’t let us touch her and was extremely feral. We worked with her over the years to tame her and she became a really loving, cuddly cat when she wanted to be. And always looking for food.” – Said the owner.

Aoife McAleer bought a GPS tracker for her cat to see where she wanders when she leaves the house
Knowing the fact that her cat is a feral one, McAleer sometimes wonders what her kitty is doing while she is not home. The cat owner decided to buy a collar that had a GPS tracker, and the tracker was connected to her smartphone. A couple of days after putting on the collar for Jagger, her phone was crazily notifying. The result shocked McAleer: Jagger not only visited 1 but 5 houses in a day which was unbelievable for a cat.
“I knew that she visited a few houses (in fact one household actually named her Peter) and she would always come home after her adventures each day, but I was interested to see where exactly she visited and was super shocked to see she visited many houses and it looks like she was fed at many also. More interestingly, she actually stayed there for some time.” – Aoife McAleer said.

The tracker sent the real-time location of Jagger’s adventures to the owner’s smartphone
Jagger the kitty also has another achievement: stealing the neighbor’s hearts. The owner figured out that her cat was not coming back home with an empty stomach. What a clever moggy!
“I know one family looked forward to seeing her come each day, they told me they feed her snacks each day, and I’m pretty sure she did the same with other houses. She would be home at 5 pm each night for another feed too.” – She said.
This invasion into the cat’s privacy took an unexpected twist when she found out Jagger had visited about five houses on her way

Being in an awe of Jagger’s adventure, McAleer bought another tracker for Cookie, another feral cat but she appears more loyal and she enjoys indoors rather than wander around the neighborhood like Jagger.
“Cookie was also feral and was extremely shy as a kitten. She is still shy now but when she wants attention, she makes sure you know about it and will follow you about until you pet her. She is a home bird and enjoys her home comforts.” – Said the cat mom.

McAleer rescued her furry friend from the streets
When people asked about the differences between Jagger and Cookie, McAleer said Jagger’s account was always active while Cookie’s one did not always notify her phone.
“Jagger’s tracking data was a lot more active. She traveled to many households but she was feisty and confident, so I expected it. Cookie’s data was a lot less exciting, she’s a nervous cat (also feral as a kitten) and she stayed within our household area.”

Sadly, the journey of feisty Jagger was over, she decided to venture the rainbow bridge. She was such a loving kitty and McAleer was madly in love with her.
