Photographer Turns Her Two Cats Into Models (30 Pics)

Enchanting background, soft and romantic music, scrumptious food being displayed, ehhh…something is off… Hah, meowdels!

Filemon and Blania are brilliant cat models who were adopted by their owner, a professional Polish photographer, Monika Małek. Filemon was adopted when he was 2 months old and Blania was adopted when she was 6 months old. As time went by, bribed with lots of treats and pets, these 2 cats grew up with the sound of the shutter button, the lens, the poses, and social media’s admiration. Monika has turned them into the most versatile felines with a lot of otherworldly amazing photos.

“They can cook, read, sew, foretell from a glass ball, and even take the pictures!” – She was proud of their cats.

But behind the triumph that you can see in every picture, Monika also has to deal with some drawbacks. They are apparently animals so sometimes the cat photographer can’t control or align their swinging moods with the photoshoot.

“My job is a lottery – despite questioning the owners, I don’t know how the photoshoot will go. Sometimes a cat hides behind the couch and sometimes the cat that was supposed to be shy is looking for contact with me.” – She said.

However, Monika finds peace and calm when taking photos with them. She feels content with her unpredictable job that has made her popular in Poland thanks to the help of her two adorable kitties. During the shooting time, Monika shows a lot of gratitude to them so they can outsmart themselves everyday. Regardless of their opposite personalities, Filemon and Blania are very obedient and intelligent, they know and can do what their human mom commands: Sit, Meerkat, Look at me, Give me paw, High five and Turn around. Monika pinpoints her vulnerability when she finds her lifetime inspiration.

“Cat photography became a form of therapy for me. The place where nobody was telling me I’m doing something wrong, they looked fat in the photo or that they like their right side of the face more. I’ve found my confidence in cats. I also feel that I’m like them—I like being alone and walking my own paths. What I also value about them is that when they think ‘no’ they meow ‘no.'” – She said.

That is how cats help us, hoomans. They may show a nonchalant side to us, but inside them, they are actually sweet and loving. Get to know about cats better, folks, you will see them no longer ‘evil’ or ‘revengeful’, that is what shallow people make it up.
