Pregnant Cat Appears On Woman’s Porch And Asks Her To Adopt Them

In this world, there is a connection between cat and human that we don’t know until we meet and feel this magic happens but we can’t explain why. Sometimes cats choose us as their human companions before we even realize what’s going on. We meet a cat one day, cuddle the sweet feline, and the next day we’re head over heels in love with jellybean toes and tickling whiskers. A woman and the cat who claimed her had a similar experience.

But, little did Rachel know, when Boots the cat claimed her, she was going to get a whole litter of affection.

Meant to be with a mom to be

Rachel’s porch was visited by a ginger cat in the early days of November. The friendly cat padded right inside the house as she opened the door to say hi. Boots knew she’d found her home after a quick look around and meeting the people inside.

Boots, the sweet kitty, didn’t arrive at her new home alone.

Boots’ stomach stripes extended across her round tummy, making it obvious that she was pregnant. But love developed in an instant, and Rachel knew the ginger cat was her family, complete with her tiny kittens on the way.

Rachel posted on Imgur, “This little woman dropped up on my porch a few weeks ago, hungry and pregnant.” Of course, I fed her, and she adopted me as a result.”

Rachel offered the pregnant cat a full bowl of kitty chow after seeing how quickly she settled in. “She was consuming far more food than I had anticipated – it was extremely astounding…. She was now in charge of the house and had utterly eclipsed all of my customary sensibilities.”

The orange and white tabby cat had Rachel completely smitten.

How many kittens?

Boots and Rachel went to the vet, which, as any cat owner knows, can be a risky venture. When it comes to taking a cat to the doctor for the first time, you never know whether to expect hissing rage or respectful acceptance. But Boots’ lovely disposition never wavered, and she was simply a good kitty from weigh-in to exam.

“At the vet, this little lovable ball of fur lay purring on the scale. Rachel said, “I’ve never met a nicer, softer cat.”

Rachel may expect 4 or 5 kittens, according to the vet, but Mother Nature loves to surprise her offspring.

Rachel awoke late in November to the sound of newborn kittens and their tiny “mews.”

Despite this, there were seven infants, not five!

“We woke up to SEVEN baby beans in a lovely kitty pile!” Rachel recounted. “I was taken aback.”

“We got six mama-like orange tabbies and one plain white.”

Rachel was compared to Snow White since she had seven kittens, and the feline family was dubbed “Boots and her seven Dwarves.” Dopey, Sleepy, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, and Sneezy were all orange and white kittens, with Doc being the only one who was completely white.

“Boots is a fantastic parent to her tiny beans,” Rachel gushed about the kitten family. The newborns compete for nipples, and the white one is particularly forceful, shoving the other babies away from the one he wants.

It’s a lot of work, but with so much love, it’s a breeze.

Rachel understood it would be difficult to take in a pregnant cat, and that taking in Boots and the kittens would involve reorganizing her life. Boots, on the other hand, was a member of the family, and caring for family may be difficult at times. Caretaking is a joy when family arrives in the form of lovely kittens and their sweet mother.

“I was adopted by Boots, and I just went with with it. It’s a little daunting having seven babies, but it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

When Boots chose Rachel, she knew she was up for the challenge since cats are amazing!

“It was a wonderful and unique experience. It was unexpected, and it took a lot of work, but I’m grateful to have been a part of it and to have rescued these eight tiny lives.”

When compassionate hearts come upon needy paws, they can’t help but do the right thing!
