Someone Dumped A Cat On The Street With His Litter Box

A poor abandoned cat was spotted sitting on Nostrand Avenue with his stuff has framed an unbearably heart-rending photo. The kitty seemed lonely and he kept running away from people who were passing by in Brooklyn, New York. All the belongings were with this furball: a litter box, a cushion, and some other cat supplies.

A few days after being spotted, Nostrand the cat (was given the name after the street that he was abandoned) disappeared because of the fear of the street sweepers. The local community joined forces to find and rescue him since he was too little and ownless.

“We immediately brought him to get vetted, and screened for a microchip.” – Flatbush Area Team for Cats (FAT Cats) wrote on Facebook after taking a lot of effort to look for Nostrand.

“[He] didn’t even mind having blood drawn for testing.” – Elizabeth Champ, one of the founders of FAT Cats said.

“Unfortunately, many male cats get dumped when they mature because there are not enough low-cost spay/neuter resources in NYC.” – She added. “People can’t afford to get them fixed, so they often dump them and get another cat.”

After going through the examination, Nostrand was determined healthy and he is looking for a forever home who can fulfill the cat love and attention. Happily, many people have already requested to adopt him. Wish Nostrand the best life ahead!
