As a human who owns a pet they tend to communicate with them by keeping asking and talking and treat them like an actual person. For dog lovers people will get the responses by hearing them dogs whining and whimpering, a particular amount of people like to teach dogs how to say ‘I love you’ as it can be easily found on the Internet. How about cat lovers otherwise? Although we are trying to learn how to call cats with lots of different sounds based on the diversity of the countries, these feline friends will reply us by yelling, hissing, meowing, purring, and hopefully not yawning cause that’s the sign of being shamed.

The most important thing that we need to notice is we need to figure out what the emotions could be when they make sounds. Purring and long meowing are for being happy, comfy, and satisfied with the world. What if they get angry? They don't meow at all but yowl. Cats will emit a shriek when they are terrified. One thing that makes it difficult to recognize is when the cat is in pain. They don't even make a single vocal, the reason is they are scared of drawing other larger animal's attention and cats think these creatures will come to eat them.

A cat behaviorist and the author of "A-Z. A Cat's Guide to Humans”, Celia Haddon, she revealed a really interesting fact about cats' world of yelling.
“Communication between cats is by smell and tactile signals, and, of course, body language.” explained Celia. So hey! If your cat is constantly meowing at you, they're trying to talk to you, cat enthusiasts!
“Humans are vocal, so cats become more vocal as they get better at communication with us.”
As a result, cats meow to get our attention, demand food, announce their arrival, and for many other reasons. Don't ignore your chatty kitty cause that's how they are comfortable with the surroundings.

Another proof about how cats meow for certain things, Anna Ewers Clark who works in PDSA, the UK's leading vet charity explained:
"For example, meowing in our ear in the morning often leads to breakfast; few owners can sleep through a persistent cat shouting! This means that they keep meowing at us while we’re in bed hoping we’ll get the message that it’s time to get up. This can be thought of like an owner-cat ‘language’ with cats using their voices to explain what they need."
