Friendship is both easy and hard to find. Having a lot of friends seems like a piece of cake for those who like to be sociable, but not many of them is a real friend who is supportive and courageous to build a strong bond together. The only way to assess who can ride or die with us is using an invisible hunch. It may sound not practical and unrealistic but one lovely pooch in this article can prove it, thanks to her thoughtful human mom Christina.

Christina adopted Raven the husky when she was a pup
It’s been 5 years since the day Christina the pet owner brought her Tamaskan husky pupper named Raven to a shelter in Lubbock, Texas to choose her best friend for life. She had adopted Raven one month before coming to this life decision. Apparently, we can’t rely on our parents to pick friends, Christina thought the same. So they came to the shelter, there were several kittens in front of Raven for her to choose from. After sniffing and greeting, there was only one kitten who wanted to make friends with the husky.

Tamaskan husky Raven was taken to a shelter to pick her own kitty to grow up with
“I had always wanted a dog and a cat to grow up together. It’s been like a life goal.” – Christina shared.
“I wanted them to be able to get along well.” – She continued. “So I wanted her to actually meet the cat and have the cat get along with the dog as well.”

The dog was presented with 4 kittens and none of them showed much interested in her, except this kitty!
It was like a fateful day, Woodhouse and Raven were getting along with each other so well, they became an inseparable duo who could take care of the house for their human mom. The pup and the kitten always playing, sleeping, and grooming together like they are the same species.

The kitten was named Woodhouse and they connected the moment they saw each other!

From time to time, they grew up with ups and downs but they never split. Christina was so proud of them.
“They are perfect with each other. They don’t cuddle as much as they used to when they were a puppy and kitten. But they’re still always together, always playing together.” – She said.
They even celebrate their birthdays together!
The two are still inseparable!

But the more the merrier. 2 years ago, Christina gave birth to an adorable baby girl Penelope (a.k.a Penny), a newcomer was added to the pack, they are now a very playful trio. Raven and Woodhouse fell in love with their human sibling from the day she was born. The whole family never got any boring days since then. Penny is a quick learner, she loves to interact with her pet friends, she likes to mimic everything that they do. Raven and Woodhouse are also pawsome babysitters too, they help Christina keep an eye on Penny when she was little. I guess the parents will be very happy to own obedient furry companions.

Woodhouse and Raven also have joined many special occasions with the family: Christmas, Halloween, New Year Eve, Penny’s birthday, and so on. The good news is Christina is conceiving another baby who happens to be Penny’s younger sister. The family is hoping for a miracle this December. This is gonna be a wonderful Christmas gift for Raven and Woodhouse too! Check out their Instagram to keep updating!
