What do you do if you don’t succeed? Purr aside your disappointment and try again. For YEARS, two dedicated art lovers have attempted to enter the Hiroshima Onomichi City Museum of Art, but have been repeatedly turned away just as they were about to enter. Meet Ken Chan and Gosaku, the world’s most tenacious feline.
It all started when the art museum opened a show called “Cats — Mitsuaki Iwago Photography Exhibition” a few years ago. A unique visitor arrived just days after the exhibit began, providing the best possible publicity for the occasion. The security guy, on the other hand, stood in the way of the kitty cats at the front door. The same black neighborhood cat reappeared in March of three years ago. This time, however, it was accompanied by a ginger companion. Unfortunately, the two adorable animals had to turn around.
Because they continuously returning, the tenacious, amusing cats have most likely established a permanent habitat near the Japanese museum. Its employees eventually began tweeting images of their visits, making them internet celebrities.
While the strange cats haven’t yet found their way inside, they do get cuddles and pets from the white-gloved guards as they return the art lovers to the outside.
