Boston Police Department’s SWAT team has a soft spot for the unofficial spirit animal who was wandering around the headquarter, she chose to mark her territory, and never left. She is a beautiful calico stray cat who has a wild attitude so the police named her SWAT cat – the mascot of the police department.
“The men and women of the BPD SWAT Team have tried numerous tactics over the years to convince her to come in from the elements but she is set in her ways.” – A department spokesperson wrote online.
But this was not the coolest part yet, they even spoiled her with a well-structured cat-sized house and SWAT the kitty appreciated it!

“Officer Jamie Pietroski, a 15-year veteran of the Boston Police Department, stayed late after work for several nights painstakingly preparing Swat Cat’s new home.” – wrote the department.
“The condo features a spacious studio interior layout, a large deck for outdoor dining, and glass sliding doors offering panoramic city views.”
Regardless of trying to fit her in other shelters but the police department was chosen. She was in love with her purrofession: being the dopest police kitty in town!
“SWAT Cat moved right in and looks very happy with her new custom kitty accommodations.”
