There are so many ways to be famous, one of them is to be kind and sweet. This black kitty Simon is not only his owner’s purrfect companion and 2 collie borders pooches but he decides to give kindness to most of the cat’s foe: mice. Cats don’t like mice and vice versa, like what we can see in the classic cartoon, Tom and Jerry. Scientifically, a cat’s natural instinct is hunting, a mouse is one of the rodents that a feline should and would catch. Simon’s human dad, Benjamín Sagredo, actually didn’t know what was going on inside Simon’s head, but the way he letting a tiny mouse sipping on his water bowl and giving no harm to it made Benjamín pulled out his phone and recorded.

A black cat named Simon became an internet superstar when his owner shared a video in which the feline became friends with a mouse
The video of cat and mouse was having a harmony of friendship went viral and it won people’s hearts. In the video, Simon approached his widdle friend by the paw but he was careful enough to not make the mouse frightened. He seemingly petted the mouse, he also gave the mouse some headbutts! The gentle gesture showed that Simon is not a regular cat, he is a cat with full-on kindness.

The owner of Simon was also in an awe of the situation, he was told cats are supposed to hunt and catch their prey but not on the other way around. He recalled when he heard weird noises from his kitchen, he didn’t mind anything at all because it was not prominently loud.
“I decided to record it. I thought no one would believe me.” – This was what Benjamín had to say when he visited the kitchen and found out this healthy bromance that nobody could barely believe. He said the moment when he was watching them bonding with each other at the water bowl, he thought it was both funny and questionable.

The video was crazily shared on the Internet, most people were melted by an aww-dorable video. However, others thought about several bad sequences when they saw Simon interacting with an unwelcomed guest. One of the dangers is toxoplasmosis, which can lead cats to have a fever, loss of appetite, and lethargy.

The best part is Benjamín did name the mouse! The owner sounded contend with his family: “He’s been back several times. We love that Simon accepts him. He’s a very affectionate and sociable cat. If Chefcito keeps coming, we’re going to have to adopt him.”
Chefcito the mouse, means Little Chef in Spanish. What a name for the wholesome friendship between Simon and his tiny friend. Simon is raised with 2 dogs, living his happy life in Punta Arenas, Chile with Benjamín Sagredo. The cat owner also said Simon was like a third pooch in the pack because of the influence of two different species’ behaviors.
