People usually work hard for their future. Sometimes to achieve your goal, you must spend a lot of time at work to earn money. It could be boring and stressful, but people choose to do that then they could enjoy later. Life will be full of adventure when you decide to do something different and change your daily schedule. If you need to take a break, here is an example to help you out with your hesitation. Dean Nicholson set off on a solo voyage around the world in September 2018 with one objective in mind: to cycle around the world from his hometown of Dunbar, Scotland. The 31-year-old Scottish traveler was tired of his 9-to-5 work as a welder, so he decided to switch gears and see the world from the seat of a bicycle.
As he drove south, travelling through eight different countries and chronicling his wild escapades online, the road trip went swimmingly. His intentions had to shift slightly as he crossed the Bosnian border into Montenegro. Dean and Nala are now well-known travel companions with over 860k Instagram followers. He was driving up a steep slope, listening to loud music, when he heard a plaintive meow from behind him. He decided to stop for a second to massage a little kitten before continuing on. The stray cat, on the other hand, had other ideas and showed her adoration right away. She couldn’t leave his side, and despite the fact that Nicholson had no intention of adopting a cat, he soon fell in love with her. Who, let’s be honest, wouldn’t?

“I strapped her to the front of my bike and got her settled in so I could take her to the next town. Dean said that, “I went to see if she was microchipped.” “But she wasn’t, and she hopped up on my shoulder and dozed out, and I assumed that was it; she was joining me on this tour.”
He knew her previous owner had dumped her on purpose since they were in the middle of nowhere and the cute kitty was starving. Nicholson called her Nala after one of the characters in his favorite film, “The Lion King,” and adopted her as a travel companion following a trip to the veterinarian.

Nicholson had to get inventive because he didn’t have a spot for kitten at first. He made some room in his front basket by removing some of his digital gear and carefully placing her there. As a result, his new travel partner was given the nicest seat in the front and was given the privilege of leading the way.

Nala soon demonstrated her caring nature and adventurous spirit. She enjoys traveling and is completely relaxed and unfazed even while going great miles. She occasionally leaps from the box and takes a seat on Nicholson’s shoulder. She is the center of attention for everyone, and people are continually asking for a picture of her.

They grew inseparable as they traveled from town to town, discovering new spots, abandoned villas, and hidden beaches, with Nala by his side through good and bad times. Nicholson couldn’t have asked for a better trip companion!

Nicholson didn’t want to put their quest on pause at the end of the year. As a result, they traveled in the rain and cold, giving Nala a chest infection. The Scottish tourist understood how much he didn’t want to lose his tiny feline at that moment, so he decided to remain in a hostel for a few weeks and wait for her to recuperate.

Nala recovered fast because to Nicholson’s excellent care, and they set out once more, this time with a more secure and waterproof setup for Nala. And, of course, their friendship grew stronger than it had ever been.

When you meet the ideal companion, your plans can change in an instant. When Nicholson began his adventure, he had just one goal in mind: to cross the world on his bicycle. However, after finding Nala, he is more concerned with her development than with his own. It’s also simply too cute!
