The average cat size from head-to-body is about 46 cm (18 in) and a tail length of 30 cm (12 in). That’s what we’ve come to expect. However, there are several cat species that their size would totally surpass our expectations. Take the Maine Coon, for example, besides their mighty stance and luscious fur, they are also known for their slinky-ish body. One of these magnificent felines has the distinction of world’s longest cat. Stewie is his name, and he is measured to be 123 cm (48.5 in) from tip of nose to tip of tail, according to Guinness World Records. But there are some furry pals is just as “stretchy” as Stewie.
